South Texas Amateur Radio Club (STARC) South Texas Amateur Radio Club Club Profile The South Texas Amateur Radio Club is a Texas Incorporated nonprofitorganization created to render public service during impending storms orsevere weather and to assist in disaster relief operations and other community functions and to promote amateur radio and good radiooperating procedure and the exchange of technical information andassistance in respect thereto. The South Texas Amateur Radio Club is also recognized by the IRS as a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Donations made to the club are tax deductible as defined by the tax law. The South Texas Amateur Radio Club is also affiliated with the ARRL the national association for Amateur Radio.
