Thank you for praying for a team of 13 disciple makers who recently spent time in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to help locals take greater ownership of the vision of living God, loving people, and making disciples. In all, there were 786 evangelistic interactions (0.4% of the population). 73 locals were trained in first steps of obedience. Of those, 10+ are continuing to take steps forward. They are being further equipped by locals that spent most of the trip going, sharing, and training alongside our team. Our global network will be participating once again in 10 days of prayer & fasting, alongside our great partnering ministry, 10 Days of Prayer. You are invited to participate with us! It starts on May 30 and ends on June 8, Pentecost Sunday. This time we have created a Biglife-specific prayer guide through the input of 10 regional leaders. We will be sharing the guide for each day on our social media pages so you can follow along. We are excited to see how the Lord uses these 10 days to make us more like Jesus and open additional doors for the expansion of His Kingdom. If you are considering joining us on this journey, here are the 4 commitments... 1️⃣ Set apart 10 days. Take as much time as you can each day to participate. This is a call to take a break from what is normal on earth to enter into what is normal in heaven for 10 days. 2️⃣ Devote yourself to prayer with others. Regardless of what expression of church you are engaged in, simple (house) or traditional, gather each day with others in your church if at all possible. Set a time each day when you can come together and pray, even if just for 30 minutes. If you are not able to gather with others, don't let it stop you from participating. 3️⃣ Fast from food in some way. For those with health challenges that prevent fasting from food, consider fasting from certain types of food you would normally eat. For everyone else, you could consider eating just one meal a day, intermittently going 24 hours or more without food, eating only fruits and vegetables, or some combination of all of them, as the Spirit leads. 4️⃣ Fast from social media and entertainment. The idea is to put aside the things that are not necessary to free up that time to spend with the Lord and with others. Will you join us?
