Koa had a recheck vet visit today, and we got all good news! This sweet boy has gained 10% of his body weight since we rescued him! It’s hard to believe that this skinny boy was even smaller at first, but we are so excited for progress. He is also maintaining red blood cell count, so we don’t need to rush him in for another transfusion. But biggest news: we learned he knows “sit” and loves belly rubs! Koa is such a strong boy. Thanks to his amazing fosters, vet staff, rescue team, and all his supporters, he is continuing to do well. One day at a time, sweet boy. We’ve got you.
