Note: Better Together Pet Resource Center will not only provide care for animals. Integral to the organization’s mission is helping people. To learn more about mental health and physical benefits of keeping pets and people together, please refer to the Human Animal Bond Research Institute. They report that pets can help lower blood pressure, lower the risk of heart disease, prevent allergies in children, reduce stress levels, decrease anxiety and depression, and increase social interaction.

Home | Better Together Pet Resource Center | Niagara County, NY In Western New York the cofounders of Better Together Pet Resource Center have seenbeloved pets regularly surrendered to animal shelters and rescue groups. Oftentimes the reason is because the owner cannot afford treatment of a pet39s medical problem grooming training classesor emergency boarding. Another reason for surrender is when an owner cannot accesspetfriendly housing. When this happens the bond between animal and personfamily is severed and all involved endure heartbreaking consequences.
