Our mission is to educate groups and people of all ages on the stewardship of coastal ecosystems and model practices of conservation and sustainability by: 1. Providing nature education and coastal watershed ecology for local and visiting schools, visitors and local residents, including naturalist-led walks/hikes to adjacent Jug Handle State Reserve and the Ecological Staircase Formation. 2. Collaborating with local agencies, schools and community groups to spearhead environmental stewardship and restoration projects using native plants raised through the native plant greenhouse and nursery project. 3. Providing affordable lodging, camping, classroom and event facilities that give visitors and local residents access to this unique coastal region.
