Located in Woodstock, CT, the Chamberlin Mill is a rare example of a water-powered circular sawmill that was later converted to gasoline power. THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRESERVING AND SUSTAINING CHAMBERLIN MILL AS HISTORICAL AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS. THE CORPORATION WILL CARRY ON ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE ALLOWABLE FOR AN ORGANIZATION EXEMPT FROM TAX PURSUANT TO SECTION 501(C) (3) OF THE INTERANL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED, (THE "CODE"), AND ENGAGE IN ANY LAWFUL ACT AND ACTIVITY CONSISTENT WITH THE FOREGOING FOR WHICH CORPORATIONS MAY BE FORMED UNDER THE ACT.
