SALEM Y VETERANS HOUSING SERVES MILITARY VETERANS IN OUR COMMUNITY BY ASSISTING THEM IN LOCATING AND OBTAINING AFFORDABLE HOUSING, COLLABORATING WITH OTHER PERSONS AND ENTITIES IN ESTABLISHING MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING AVAILABLE TO MILITARY VETERANS, AND ADVOCATING FOR GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS AND LEGISLATION RELATED TO AFFORDABLE VETERANS HOUSING. IN ADDITION, THE SALEM Y VETERANS HOUSING WILL BE COORDINATING HUMAN SERVICES WITH OTHER LOCAL NONPROFIT AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO SUPPORT THE VETERANS IN NEED OF SUCH SERVICES WHO LIVE IN THE APARTMENT COMPLEX.
