June is #PrideMonth! The first Pride marches were held in major cities across the US in 1970, one year after the Stonewall Uprising. Thousands of LGBTQIA+ people gathered to commemorate Stonewall and demonstrate for equal rights. This week's #FeelGoodFriday comes from The Macomb Daily. One very inspirational 11-year-old is making waves in Macomb County this June by launching a 10,000 pound challenge food drive! Clinton Township resident Jojo Zager came up with the idea for a food drive after hearing about the U.S. Department of Agriculture's cuts to its Emergency Food Assistance Program. “Poor and homeless people are just the same as us, they just need a little bit more help,” Zager said.
