The Republic of Letters helps people write books. We are a literary center, used bookstore, and publisher. We believe in writing, reading, and critical dialogue. We offer writing classes, discussion groups, editing services, and author events. We're a writer's bookshop. We help people write books. We hope to provide an enchanting space dedicated to the literary arts because we are nostalgic for the times when the bookstore and the printed word were at the center of intellectual enlightenment. We believe in practicing and defending open discourse.
