The mission of the Escondido Community Child Development Center (ECCDC) is ""Investing in Our Community… One Family at a Time"". Our vision is to provide quality, early childhood education, development and health programs for children 4 months to 5 years of age at little or no cost, to low-income families. This early education and childcare program helps families to remain gainfully employed and self-sustaining. ECCDC provides this quality care along with early intervention, early education and essential nutrition in licensed community based centers. Education breaks the cycle of poverty.
