We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization & animal rescue saving the lives of at risk shelter animals SAM is organized to raise funding and awareness for care and treatment of medical needs and at risk shelter animals pulled to our rescue. These animals that we rescue from local shelters are typically deemed not adoptable because of their condition or are at risk due to shelter overcrowding. Our focus is on shelters in GA and SC.

Our Story In the fall of 2016 a male black lab mix completed his 5 day stray hold at Augusta Animal Services. Ourdedicated group of volunteers went to the shelter to bathe the dogs listed to process for adoption.
