The COVID-19 pandemic abruptly shut down tourism to the Galapagos Islands in mid-March. As a result, hundreds of dedicated and hardworking naturalist guides were suddenly out of work with few, if any, options available to provide for themselves and their families. That’s why the International Galapagos Tour Operators Association (IGTOA) and the Galapagos Guides Association (AGIPA) have launched a GoFundMe campaign to provide support for guides and their families during these difficult times.
