Friends of Niger (FON) is a charitable and educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation formed to initiate and support activities related to Niger and its people and for the benefit of its membership.

Supporting and promoting development and humanitarian activities in Niger

Friends of Niger Friends of Niger Friends of Niger unites over 1500 people who have lived and worked in Niger to support the efforts of Nigeriens to improve their own lives and to promote better understanding of the people of Niger. Our main goals are to 1 Engage connect members 2 Support development humanitarian projects 3 Promote awareness Friends of Niger promotes development by providing funds and fiscal sponsorship for projects that support our mission and shared values. We maintain a low overhead and leverage the skills and assets of members and volunteers to accomplish our mission. We support projects that are communitybased and add value to the lives of Nigeriens through a small grant program.
