East TN based 501c3 non-profit, provides rescue and rehabilitation for senior and special needs dogs. Mission Statement
The mission of Misfit Dog project shall be to pull senior & special needs dogs from shelters once all other options for them have been exhausted. We will fundraise, treat, foster, & rehabilitate these animals until a suitable adoptive home can be found.

For those of you that don't know we would like to introduce you to Foxy family Rescue This rescue is run by a very brave young woman in Cosby Tennessee. She is struggling under the weight of all of the animals she takes in and a lack of adoptions. Please check out her page to see if there is anything you can do to help.
