For the previous three days, we have served more than 1,000 meals each day. The end of the month is always our busiest time for the Soup Kitchen, but this month, even more so. Three years ago, 1,000 meals in a single day was unheard of. But food, housing, and utility costs are rising, and times are tough for many Rhode Islanders. We are proud to be here to help, but we could use your help.
