Our Mission Statement:UVLA makes hope, dignity and justice available to senior and low-income residents through legal assistance and education that protects fundamental rights, basic necessities and access to the judicial system; challenges policies and practices that harm seniors and low-income persons; and empowers clients to advocate for themselves and their communities.Our Vision Statement:UVLA envisions a judicial district where seniors and low-income people have access to services and resources to meet their basic needs and where all residents can vindicate their legal rights and be treated fairly through the civil justice system.

UVLA provides legal support through Clinics pro se assistance and pro bono representation. UVLA Clinics are an opportunity tospeak with an attorney oneonone ask questions and receive the advice you need to move forward. We each have the right and ability torepresent ourselves in legal mattersand UVLA provides the resourcesassistance and knowledge to moveforward with confidence.
