The Arctic Winter Games are coming to the Mat-Su from March 10-16, 2024! Follow along for this exciting Circumpolar cultural sporting event π THE MAT-SU ARCTIC WINTER GAMES ARE COMING TO ALASKA THE MAT-SU ARCTIC WINTER GAMES HOST SOCIETY WAS FORMED AFTER THE BID WAS AWARDED BY THE ARCTIC WINTER GAMES INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE TO HOST THE GAMES IN THE REGION. THE MAT-SU 2024 ARCTIC WINTER GAMES WILL UNITE AND CELEBRATE OUR COMMUNITY WHILE CONNECTING US TO OUR NORTHERN NEIGHBORS. OUR MISSION IS TO SHARE THE SPIRIT AND BEAUTY OF THE MAT-SU BY HOSTING A WORLD-CLASS EVENT THAT PROMOTES HEALTHY RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND EMPOWERS FUTURE LEADERS THROUGH SPORT AND CULTURE. OUR VALUES ARE ROOTED IN OUR CALL TO ACTION RISING STRONG AFTER SEVERAL CHALLENGING YEARS, WE LOOK FORWARD TO GATHERING AS A COMMUNITY AND CELEBRATING OUR VALUES WHICH INCLUDE; RESILIENCE, INCLUSIVITY, STRENGTH, AND EXCELLENCE.
