Established in 2020, WrightU is a female-founded, four-year, private higher education institution building racial and social justice. Comprised of and educating those historically excluded by academia, WU is defined by its anti-xenophobic education and real-world, skill-based competencies that will give rise to compassionate leaders for a just society. The members of the WU professional community place emphasis on providing educational opportunities to the black community, indigenous populations, people of color, women, first-generation college students, the LGBTQIA+ community, people with disabilities, and veterans.
