Big Country AIDS Support Group
Providing compassionate health care and social services to those living with HIV/AIDS Dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV and helping those living with HIV in the Big Country. BCAR is a community based organization serving the residents of 19 counties in West Central Texas. Our mission is to help individuals reduce their risk factors for being infected with HIV and to support those individuals who have HIV/AIDS. All are welcome and this is a safe space. We are not here to judge your lifestyle or who you are. We are here to help you take steps to reduce your risk of HIV infection, or if you are living with HIV to help you achieve and maintain your good health. BCAR strives to inform the community at large about the HIV/AIDS pandemic and to remind us that West Central Texans are not immune to HIV infection.
