Reynosa – ¡Feliz Día del Niño! We had a wonderful celebration today in Reynosa for Día del Niño, a day to honor the joy, value, and importance of children in our lives and communities. The kids enjoyed games, a delicious breakfast, candy, and cake—and their laughter filled the whole space with life and love. A powerful week with Dr. Tony We were so grateful to have Dr. Tony, a mental health expert and psychologist, with us for four full days of learning, reflection, and growth. During her visit, she led a series of impactful seminars focused on the effects of stress on our minds and bodies, and shared practical tools to help us care for our mental health. Dr. Tony spent time with staff, volunteers, the logistics team, and local families, creating safe spaces for important conversations about emotional well-being and everyday challenges. In the work we do, it’s easy to pour everything out for others and forget to care for ourselves. Tony reminded us that mental and emotional well-being are just as important as physical strength and faith. Thank you Tony, for walking with us and strengthening this mission from the inside out. (fb)
