Today is the last day to register for the 5 Boro Bike Tour! This coming Sunday, May 4, thousands of bike riders will take on the 40-mile route that starts in Battery Park in Lower Manhattan, hits all five boroughs, and ends in Staten Island. Register today and ride for a reason by joining TeamBRC. Cyclists who commit to fundraising for BRC receive a custom fundraising website, a special t-shirt, guaranteed placement in the first start wave, breakfast before the event and lunch at the end, and the satisfaction of knowing that your support is helping not only Bike New York, but also BRC, our clients, and our programs. For more information, please visit: https://www.brc.org/post/teambrc_nycbiketour (fb)

April is National Volunteer Month. Volunteers are a huge part of BRC’s success. From teaching ballroom dancing to helping with computer literacy to serving food at meal times, the thousands of hours of effort from our hundreds of volunteers enrich the lives of BRC clients and provide much needed capacity for our staff. Last night, we hosted a thank you reception for those who donate their time, energy, and exemplify our mission to restore hope and dignity by offering our clients opportunities for health and self-sufficiency. If you have ever volunteered at BRC, we thank you, and if you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, visit https://www.brc.org/volunteer to learn more. #Hope #Health #Home #VolunteersMakeADifference (fb)
