And your final Senior Spotlight is here—meet Caleb! . We saved Caleb for last because he was the last student to join this graduating class. He actually started the year as a Junior, but after a college visit to Moody Bible Institute, he couldn’t get there soon enough! Caleb is from Colcord, OK, and first enrolled at CHCS in 2019 as a 6th grader. . 💙 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻: The teachers who have cared for him and helped him succeed in school 🎶 𝗛𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀: Playing drums, hanging out with friends, playing card games (“I’m a boring guy—that’s kind of it”) 🍴 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: Chick-Fil-A, Mike and Ike’s, and Root Beer 🎬 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Any action movie 📖 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: Colossians 3:17 — “And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” . Caleb ran Cross Country for two seasons and was a part of our 2023 State Champion team! He has been an integral part of the our band for the past six years as a percussionist. His hard work, leadership, and passion for music have earned him the respect of his peers and music director. Caleb was a two-year member of the OBU Honor Band, 1st chair in the EOBDA Honor Band, and served as band president for two years. His commitment to excellence has set a great example for others. . After high school, Caleb plans to attend Moody Bible Institute to study youth ministry and continue to make an impact for the Kingdom. . Thanks for everything, Caleb!
