As our Nations Veterans age or in many cases return from battle, they find themselves in need of a motorized wheelchair. Most of these men and women who have protected our freedom and defend America can in no way afford the four, five, or six digit price tag of a new power chair, and used ones are hard to find. Getting a power chair from the VA or Medicare is almost impossible, As time goes on, the need continues to grow. Volunteers take donated Motorized Wheelchairs are taken apart, painted, fiberglass repaired, new batteries added, seats upholstered, and then these chairs are given to our local veterans and/or their families...FREE! We have local Sponsors that will help refurbish these chairs when it required a "professional".
