Winsome Acres Horse Sanctuary is dedicated to enhancing domestic equine welfare through education and outreach and providing permanent homes and adoption services to special needs, senior, unwanted horses and horses bound for slaughter. By offering shelter support, veterinary care and rehabilitation services, Winsome Acres aims to improve the quality of life for vulnerable equines and educate the public on the importance of humane treatment. A small but growing sanctuary by design, we prioritize quality of care above all else. Every horse is provided singular attention and an abundance of time and resources to feel safe and protected, including rehabilitation training, emergency healthcare, veterinary care, feed, supplements, forage and on the ground training for adoption.
