Fly Fish NM
Fly Fish NM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Albuquerque New Mexico created to provide Fly Fishing opportunities for NM youth who would otherwise not be able to participate in outdoor fishing experiences due to economic inability, or limited access to the outdoors. Fly Fish NM provides youth inclusion and equitable access to the outdoors by planning fly-fishing day camps that educate youth about conservation of our natural environment, and preservation of fragile fishing habitats. Clean Air, Land, and Water are vital to our sport. FFNM coordinates efforts with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, the YMCA and similar organizations. Funding will support the purchase of fly rod kits and supplies for a additional future participants and other program costs.

Our goal is to teach our youth the importance of preserving the environment and our limited natural resources the basics of fly fishing how to identify fish species the importance of conserving fish habitats and how to identify insects and aquatic bugs that make up a fish39s diet. Preserving New Mexico39s beautiful streams and lakes for future generations is necessary.
