Capitol Heights Presbyterian Church
Capitol Heights Presbyterian Church (CHPC) has been active in central Denver since 1896. Seeking to be a "House of Prayer for All" CHPC has shared their building with the 10:30 Catholic Community since 1972, & Dignity Denver since the 1980's. The church building is a community center in the Congress Park neighborhood offering music classes, 12-Step support groups, mental health therapy, and meditation with White Forest Sangha. Major collaborations include work with Capitol Hill United Ministries (CHUM), which also includes the Women's Homeless Initiative (www.chumdenver.org), Together CO, CO Council of Churches and NEAR in VV (Neighbors Embracing Afghan Refugees in Virginia Village). At CHPC, Diversity is a Celebration!

About Us - Welcome OUR MISSION We are committed to Peace Justice and Mercy as we try always to follow Jesus and live the truths we are taught in the Gospel and by God who is Love. OUR STORY We are a collaborative of 4 faith communities including the 1030 Catholic Community Dignity of Denver The White Forest Sangha all in partnership with Capitol Heights Presbyterian. We also have several 12step groups that we host and neighbors who have offices in our building serving the neighborhood of Congress Park. CAPITOL HEIGHTS PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNITY MEMBERS Mark Meeks Minister Mark has served Capitol Heights in ministry since 1979.
