Cat Team 7 is a joint iniative with Naval Station Norfolk to stabilize the colony on base. Cat Team 7 is a 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue dedicated to cat welfare on Department of Defense (DoD) installations and specifically Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, VA. Our mission is to ensure that outdoor cats living outdoors on Department of Defense (DoD) installations find appropriate homes where they are safe, loved and cared for by equipping their human advocates with the right tools to get the job done.

Cat Team 7 Cat Team 7 No Cat Left Behind Foster Adopt Donate Operations Update We regret to inform the Cat Team 7 community that effectively immediately we will be pausing operations on Naval Station Norfolk. The additional professional and personal obligations recently taken on by our allvolunteer board members in combination with restrictions and safety measures associated with the COVID19 pandemic have forced us to temporarily step back from our activities on base. We remain committed to the welfare of our beloved Navy cats and are working with the NSPCA as well as the Norfolk municipal shelter NACC to help abandoned or stray animals in our absence. Our sincere thanks go out to all of the generous supporters and volunteers who have made the work we do a possibility.
