Something Queer Music and Arts Collective's mission is to build community among queer people in the Bay Area and beyond through music, art, mentorship, and social support programs. We offer opportunities to gather as a community to effectuate this mission. We also sponsor grant programs to queer people to help them develop and create art and music.

Something Queer Music and Arts Collective – SQ Something QueerMusic and Arts Collective The Something Queer Music and Arts Collective was founded in May of 2021 as a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation and is led by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are a taxexempt public charity under IRS Section 501c3. Our mission is to build queer community through education art music culture social support selfexpression and civic engagement. We accomplish this goal through an annual retreat for members of the queer community by providing opportunities within the queer community to connect by providing scholarships and other funding to members of the queer community and sponsoring other events and activities to promote queer communitybuilding and mentorship opportunities.
