Forever Kings Inc.

Forever Kings Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering boys and young men of color in the United States. The organization strives to create a culture of brotherhood and provide resources that enable these young men to redefine, reshape, and reimagine their life outcomes.

Mission and Vision

Forever Kings' mission is to challenge the social norms, explicit biases, and stigmas associated with boys and young men of color. It aims to disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline and foster a cradle-to-college, careers, and entrepreneurship framework. The organization envisions young men of color having equitable opportunities to achieve personal and professional success.

Programs and Pillars

Forever Kings operates under three core pillars: Kinghood, Brotherhood, and Servanthood. These principles are incorporated into various programs, workshops, retreats, and special events designed to equip and empower participants. Key programs include:

• Boyz II Kings: A flagship community-based program for young men in grades 7-12, focusing on self-reflection, self-visualization, and creating a culture of brotherhood.
• Every King Succeeds: An academic enrichment program supporting members academically and preparing them for college entrance examinations.
• Kings For Christ: An optional discipleship program centered on living a Christ-centered life.

Impact and Goals

Forever Kings has impacted over 3,000 young men, primarily in the Greater Cincinnati area, by providing a safe space for development and growth. The organization aims to expand its reach nationally and enhance college and career readiness among its members. Forever Kings received the Greater Cincinnati Foundation's Educational Success Grant to further its initiatives.

Leadership and Strategy

The organization is led by Jordan Bankston, who seeks to create a space where black and brown boys can find hope and know they belong. Forever Kings plans to launch a strategic plan titled "Vision 2029" to enhance its national presence and impact.

Community Engagement

Forever Kings collaborates with various community partners to provide comprehensive support, including mental health resources and career exposure. Members engage in weekly sessions with professionals from multiple sectors, enhancing their social-emotional, academic, and physical well-being.
