We promote the discipline of neuropsychology as it relates to Black populations. Expanding the clinical competence and scientific rigor applied to the practice of neuropsychology and neuropsychological practice with Black populations. Engaging both the scientific community and the general population with clinical knowledge and research regarding Black health disparities and its impact on neuropsychological functioning. Developing community outreach and advocacy initiatives that disseminate clinical and research information about brain health to underserved Black communities. Fostering a community of collaboration, mentorship, networking, and support among SBN members and the greater neuropsychological community at large. Increasing the representation of Black neuropsychologists, students and scholars at every level of training in neuropsychology.
