Each year, 750 million people around the world go hungry. We want to do something about that! At KVG we take excess/rejected produce from local farmers and companies, dehydrate it and send it overseas to feed those in need. Volunteer with us today! THE ORGANIZATION WILL GATHER, PROCESS, PACKAGE AND SHIP FOOD THAT WOULD OTHERWISE GO TO WASTE TO NGO'S OVERSEAS FOR DISTRIBUTION TO POOR AND HUNGRY PEOPLE.

The Kalamazoo Valley Gleaners Mission Showing Gods Love to those in need Sending food to the worlds starving people Being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to those in need The Solution to Hunger Is Growing All Around Us In North America more than 25 of all fruits and vegetables are plowed under or brought to landfills just because they are the wrong size color shape or have reached their best before date. 1 This results in 63 million tons of food that goes uneaten each year. 2 The gathering of this wasted food and processing it to produce nutritious meals is called gleaning.
