This charity began with one person. A man named Matthew Woods found a way to heal from his trauma, and decided to pay it forward. All those who seek freedom from deep anxiety, depression or trauma, can now find their way “out of the woods”. The PHEW Foundation will fund PHP and IOP programs that go above and beyond talk therapy. Consisting of 9-25 hours a week, patients will emerge from their darkness, finding purpose and an opportunity to recreate their lives. The program involves a number of treatments ranging from individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, neurofeedback, biofeedback, alpha-stimulation, exposure therapy, movement, energy work, sound baths, music therapy, art groups, meditation, massage and personalized olfactory anxiety reduction therapy.
