The Dr. Wilderness Show, a 501 (c) nonprofit presentation since 1979, is an Emmy-award-winning family magic program. Featuring professional magician Khevin Barnes, the production began as a national television special, airing in prime-time on CBS stations. The programs are interactive, multi-media family shows combining inspiring commentary, theater, robotics and magical illusions. Today he works primarily for elementary school audiences, fairs, festivals and special events. The programs are science and nature based with an emphasis on environmental education and natural history. In 2014 Khevin became a Male Breast Cancer Survivor and advocate. The Dr. Wilderness Shows are presented free of charge for ''Kids Cancer Camps" anywhere in the U.S.--supported in part by corporate donations
