Montana's Heart & Home Foundation a non profit creating independent supported housing & apparel co. As parents of a 24 year old young lady who has Down Syndrome , named Montana, we saw the need for our daughter to experience independent living in a safe and supportive environment. Once children reach the age of 18-22 many transitional support services through the school systems end and new chapters in their lives begin. Many young adults with disabilities often find themselves feeling isolated and not understood. Montana's Heart & Home Foundation strives to provide the opportunity for not only continued personal growth but for inclusive participation in an expansive world. Montana is our inspiration and our first resident. We are a faith based foundation , looking to purchase a home to permanently house 4-6 young ladies with Down Syndrome in a safe, enriching vibrant environment.
