IS A 501(C)3 NONPROFIT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION THAT SHINES LIGHT INTO THE DARKNESS, EMPOWERING BREAST CANCER PATIENTS TO WEATHER BREAST CANCER BOTH PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. KEEPERS OF THE FLAME SUPPORTS BREAST CANCER PATIENTS THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUPPORTIVE PROGRAMS SUCH AS HARDSHIP ASSISTANCE AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO COUNSELING. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH THE SOCIAL WORKERS AT EACH OF THE LOCAL HOSPITALS TO PROVIDE PATIENTS IN NEED WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR TRANSPORTATION, UTILITIES, CHILDCARE, WIG AND OTHER ESSENTIALS AS PART OF OUR HARDSHIP PROGRAM, AND WE ALSO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO PSYCHOTHERAPY TO SUPPORT PATIENTS' MENTAL HEALTH.
