Evans Bakery is a full service retail and wholesale bakery serving Old North Dayton and beyond. Our non-profit provides children and adults hands-on opportunities to explore nature by gardening. In addition to cultivating new spaces, we revitalize abandoned and neglected outdoor areas. Our platform for developing an appreciation for the natural world is simple: gardening basics, grow some food and understand the life cycles of plants, animals, and insects. Healthy eating habits, responsibility, a work ethic, patience, and communal sharing are all essential lessons from the garden.
