Ensemble Affect is a string band based in Chicago, specializing in historically-informed-performance otherwise known as HIP. We provide opportunities all over Chicago to discover the thrilling world of music created in the Baroque, Classical, and Renaissance periods. Ensemble Affect is devoted to spreading the word about “early” music and providing accessible, engaging, and affordable opportunities to experience it.
