The organization protects the integrity of an historic Baptist church property dating back to the late 1700's. It includes two walled family cemetery plots and the general graveyard of the former Baptist church on approximately 4 acres. Keeping this property maintained enhances the surrounding neighborhood and provides historic perspective for the community.

Location Old Glenrose Avenue at Dodge Drive Nashville Tennessee Annual Membership Meeting November 16 2024 10 AM 12 Noon 2021 Annual Newsletter Last Paper Based Mill Creek Baptist Church mother church of Southern Baptists in Davidson County occupied two meeting houses at this site from 1797 until the early 20th Century. Here in 1833 Baptists formed the first Tennessee Baptist Convention. The churchs graveyard includes the graves of many early settlers of both African and European descent.
