UNLOCKED MINDS, INC. provides cost-free creative workshops to youth within marginalized communities and institutions (i.e. juvenile detention, shelters, public schools) as a means to reduce the cycle of intergenerational incarceration. Unlocked Minds, Inc. facilitates immersive multidisciplinary arts programs that offer alternative pathways for educational engagement among New Mexico’s youth. We custom design culturally relevant and exciting creative opportunities in collaboration with communities, schools, and institutions. Our hands on programs inspire creative confidence and cultivate diverse leadership skills among young people with unique talents and experiences.
