NOLA Girl NOLA GIRL CHARITABLE GIVING how we began In 2008 JoAnne and Dan agreed to foster a dog from Animal Rescue New Orleans ARNO. Pearl very quickly became a foster fail. Pearl had been rescued by an ARNO volunteer as a newborn after Katrina. Knowing nothing about rescues or their needs JoAnne started asking questions.
