Recent Events State Water Board Moves Forward with Permanent Streamflow Protections for the Scott and Shasta Rivers On October 16 2024 the State Water Resources Control Board passed a resolution committing to take further necessary steps toward permanently protecting streamflows in the ecologically vital Scott and Shasta Rivers. The Board directed staff to prepare scientific and economic reports that will be the basis for further regulatory action.
