TE AO MANA expands the presence of Polynesian culture worldwide through the creation of new, Pacific Island culture based, movement work, specialized classes and workshops, performances, and cultural events. The organization creates space for programming, community building, and exhibiting a strong Pacific Island presence in NYC. As representation for this underserved community is severely lacking, the efforts of Te Ao Mana seeks to bring change to address those needs.

Tatou Festival | Explore Island Culture Welina Maeva e Manava Afio Mai Talitali Fiefia Welina Maeva e Manava Afio Mai Talitali Fiefia Welina Maeva e Manava Afio Mai Talitali Fiefia September 30 October 05 2025 TATOU FEST created by Te Ao Mana is an international cultural gathering created for Taata Moana Nui Pacific Islanders by Taata Moana Nui where all are welcome to respectfully celebrate our rich cultural traditions and artistic innovation while building community. Over 40000 Pacific Islanders live in NYC yet investment in this community is overlooked. This event is the first of its kind in New York City and the larger east coast region. Some of the values that underlie Polynesian cultures including Mana Spiritual power Lokahi working together to strengthen our community and Malama Aina a reverence for and connection to nature and protecting our natural resources can be celebrated by everyone.
