GREEN ENERGY FARMERS COOPERATIVE
Green Energy Farmers Cooperative has the mission of supporting the education and research of biomass. Donations will be used to support students and organizations that study, evaluate, and promote the use of biomass as a replacement for petroleum. GEFC also directly researches biomass utilization and currently has a process to isolate lignin from switchgrass, a non-food crop. The overall goal is to reduce the use of fossil fuels and thereby help reduce climate change.
