Historically outdoor adventure has been characterized by a Western understanding of the outdoors as a place to be conquered and subjected. This mindset has resulted in the exploitation of many natural resources violence against indigenous people groups and the exclusion of marginalized communities from natural spaces. Through a holistic education focused approach that prioritizes exploration mindfulness and approaching the outdoors with a sense of childlike wonder Sahale Outdoors is committed to undoing these cultural narratives.
