House Bill 6165 and Senate Bill 983 would establish a Purple Alert system in Rhode Island to help find missing people with physical or cognitive disabilities. Right now, the state lacks a coordinated alert system for missing people with disabilities. This legislation would close that gap and help save lives. Five states have already implemented similar systems, saving hundreds of lives. How can you help?
