Alex passed away in September 2017 but he lived a remarkable life and left behind an incredible legacy. Alex grew up in Amsterdam Holland and was a member of the Dutch Underground during WWII. He was involved in a number of engagements prior to his capture and imprisonment in Auschwitz Concentration Camp in 1941 and eventual liberation from Bergen Belsen in April 1944.
