The mission of the San Joaquin River Parkway & Conservation Trust is to preserve and restore San Joaquin River lands having ecological, scenic or historic significance; to educate the public on the need for stewardship; to research issues affecting the river; and to promote educational, recreational and agricultural uses of the river bottom consistent with the protection of the river's resources.

The Trust is looking for passionate Californians (18+) who want to serve as California Climate Action Corps fellows for 11 months. Fellows would lead climate action and volunteer engagement projects across the San Joaquin River Parkway. California Climate Action Corps Fellows earn up to $45,000 in living stipends and money for school upon completion of 1,700 hours of service between September 15, 2025, and August 14, 2026.
