MOBIG stands for Music On Belle Isle Group. Its mission is to bring back great music to Belle Isle and to promote the restoration of the Remick Bandshell. Our mission is two-fold: to encourage and facilitate the return of wind band concerts and other live musical experiences to the Belle Isle State Park for the enjoyment of the general public, and to restore the historically significant Remick Band Shell for safe use by the musical and artistic community.

WELCOME TO MOBIG Music On Belle Isle GroupDedicated to returning great music to Belle Isle 2025 Season begins June 4 Some years ago. thousands of music lovers enjoyed wonderful concerts at the Remick band shell on Belle Isle performed by the legendary Detroit Concert Band under the direction of Leonard B. Smith and the world renowned Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The Music On Belle Isle Group is dedicated to returning that summer tradition to Belle Isle and restoring the Remick band shell.
