RECOVERY NC Recovery Starts With You Here at Recovery NC our mission is to connect evidencebased programs that offer proven interventions to those individuals and families battling a substance use disorder both individually and at the communitylevel. Our nonprofit organization believes in treating each person with respect and concern in order to give them the best chance at pursuing a healthy longterm recovery. We believe connecting those struggling with a substance use disorder their families and the communities we serve with needed resources ensure a lifelong recovery from alcohol and other drugs. Recovery NC funds the following programs Programs connecting people in early recovery with sponsors peers recovery coaches AANA and others in the recovery communities Programs connecting those with a substance use disorder to include those facing reentry from prison jail or other institutions and their families to needed evidencebased services including treatment housing employment opportunities education etc.
