Nashi Immigrants Health Board Health Resources Community Programs Peer Support Program April 2025 Community Empowerment Nashi Immigrants Health Board empowers postSoviet and Ukrainian immigrants through health education and resources fostering a supportive environment for newcomers in the USA. Advocacy and Equity Founded during the COVID19 pandemic the organization advocates for health equity and social justice ensuring immigrants and refugees receive culturally sensitive support and care. Responsive Services Nashi responds proactively to crises such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine by scaling up support and services to meet the urgent health and social needs of affected refugees. Community Collaboration Partnering with WA DOH and relying on federal and state grants Nashi strengthens its outreach and impact through collaborative efforts focusing on communitybased approaches to health and wellbeing.
